Our companies is looking for Accountant.
Working hours 8:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (lunch break 13:00 – 14:00)
The applicants must have at least 5 years of relevant account bookkeeping experience and should be fluent in English and Greek (verbal and written).
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
- Processing sales invoices / receipts
- Processing stock item purchases (invoices, CN etc.)
- Maintaining up to date customer and supplier financial statements.
- Communicating with customers and arrange money collection.
- Reconciling customer’s, suppliers’ and banks statements.
- Processing employee’s monthly payroll and wages payment.
- Processing and submitting VAT statements.
- Manage any potential maters / paperwork between company and public sector services (relevant to all the above).
- Cooperating with company’s external accountants / auditors.
- Ability and integrity to handle sensitive information.
- Processing and manage any other duties relevant to the accounts / back-office department.
Key Skills/Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor degree or similar in Accounting. LCCI accounting qualification or other equivalent will be considered as an advantage
- Fluency in English and Greek (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of windows and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in BTMS accounting/Stock/Payroll/Timesheet software, will be considered as an advantage.
- Organizational and time management and strong analytical skills.
- Organized, diligent and detail oriented.
- Ability to act as a team player
